All appointments can be completely tailored to suit you and your needs – this is just a guide. Appointments marked with * attract Medicare rebates – please contact me for more information about this. Antenatal appointments are preferred in my home-based clinic and Postnatal visits will occur in your home. Travel fees will apply for visits outside of Port Macquarie.
Antenatal Visit*
Physical check of mother and baby, emotional check in, discussion and education of any topic you wish, including answering of questions. Discussion of pathology results and ordering relevant tests.
Postnatal Visit*
Midwifery visit in your home to discuss anything mother or baby related. Can include weighing of baby if you wish, breastfeeding support, sleep/settling.
Acuneedling
Acuneedling plus moxibustion/acupressure/cupping (as necessary). See my blog post for more information about this treatment. Can be done antenatally, postnatally or in early labour (at home).
Babywearing Consultation
Try on my extensive carrier library while we chat about safety, optimal positioning of baby and the pros and cons of different carrier styles.
TENS Machine Hire
Includes set of pads and hire of machine for ~6 weeks (or longer if needed). I recommend that you receive the TENS by 36 weeks gestation.
Birth Debrief Session
This session provides you with the opportunity to discuss your birth experience/s with a Midwife, to process your birth/s and the feelings/thoughts you have about them.
Possums Consult
Neuroprotective Developmental Care (NDC or 'The Possums Programs') entails Evidence-based support for breastfeeding, sleep, unsettled baby behaviour and parent mood challenges.
Birth Planning
Come and chat with me about the birth you envision and we can discuss the choices that you can make during your pregnancy that are most likely to get you there.
